Monitoring deposit transactions

You can monitor the status of all deposit transactions in the Symba Payments interface.

Viewing deposits

  • Log in to Symba Payments with a user who is authorized to view deposits.
  • In Symba Payments, click the 'Deposit' menu item in the sidebar.
  • The 'Recent deposits' section will show a list of recent deposits and their status.

Deposit statuses

Deposit statuses include:

  • Pending - Deposit has been initiated but not yet completed
  • In Progress - Mobile money payment request has been sent and is awaiting client approval
  • Succeeded - Deposit has been successfully processed and credited to the savings account
  • Failed - Deposit transaction failed (e.g., mobile money payment was declined)
  • Cancelled - Deposit was cancelled before completion
