Monitoring repayment transactions

You can monitor the status of all repayment transactions in the Symba Payments interface.

Viewing repayments

  • Log in to Symba Payments with a user who is authorized to view repayments.
  • In Symba Payments, click the 'Collection' menu item in the sidebar.
  • The 'Recent repayments' section will show a list of recent repayments and their status.

Repayment statuses

Repayment statuses include:

  • Pending - Repayment has been initiated but not yet completed
  • In Progress - Mobile money payment request has been sent and is awaiting client approval
  • Succeeded - Repayment has been successfully processed and credited to the loan account
  • Failed - Repayment transaction failed (e.g., mobile money payment was declined)
  • Cancelled - Repayment was cancelled before completion
