A loan approval can be undone to return the loan to "Submitted and pending approval" status. This is useful when an approval was made in error or when the terms need to be revised before the loan is disbursed.

Prerequisites

• A loan with "Approved" status (not yet disbursed)
• Log in to Symba Microbanking with a user account that is authorized to undo loan approvals

Steps

• Navigate to the loan account
• Click the icon in the loan account header
• Select "Undo Approval"
• Click "Confirm" to undo the approval

The loan status changes back to "Submitted and pending approval".

Next steps

• Approve the loan once the issues have been resolved
