Disabling Two-Factor Authentication

Depending on your organization's configuration, you may be able to disable Two-Factor Authentication on your account. If Two-Factor Authentication is required by your organization, this option will not be available.

Prerequisites

  • Access to your Symba Portal account
  • Two-Factor Authentication must be currently enabled
  • Your organization must allow disabling Two-Factor Authentication (not all organizations permit this)

Steps

  • Log in to Symba Portal with your username and password.
  • Enter the verification code from your authenticator app.
  • Click your name in the top-right corner, then click Profile.
  • If the Disable Two-Factor Authentication button is visible, your organization allows disabling Two-Factor Authentication. If the button is not visible, Two-Factor Authentication is required and cannot be disabled.
  • Click the Disable Two-Factor Authentication button.
  • Click Confirm in the dialog.

Two-Factor Authentication is now disabled on your account. You can delete the entry from your authenticator app. The next time you log in, you will only need to enter your username and password.
