Review all guarantors attached to a loan account to see who has taken on responsibility for repayment.

Prerequisites

Log in to Symba Microbanking with a user account that has permission to view guarantors.

Steps

• Open the loan account for which you want to view guarantors
• Open the Guarantors tab

The guarantor list displays:

• Guarantor name or account details
• Guarantor type (existing client, external, or group savings account)
• Relationship to borrower (if applicable)
• Linked savings account and guarantee amount (if applicable)
• Available balance for savings account guarantors

Viewing guarantee holds (liens)

For savings account guarantors, you can view the automatic holds (liens) placed on the savings account:

• Click on the linked savings account number
• Navigate to the "Liens" tab
• See all hold and release transactions for this loan guarantee
