Unblocking savings accounts

Unblock a savings account to restore normal transaction processing after a block has been applied. You can unblock the entire account or restore specific transaction types.

Prerequisites

Log in to Symba Microbanking with a user account that has permission to unblock savings accounts.

The savings account must have an active block.

Steps

  • Open the savings account you want to unblock
  • Click the menu icon in the account header
  • Select "More", then click "Unblock Account"
  • Select the unblock type:
    • Unblock - Removes all transaction restrictions
    • Unblock Debit - Restores withdrawal capability (removes debit block)
    • Unblock Credit - Restores deposit capability (removes credit block)
  • Click "Submit"

The account status updates to reflect the change. Normal transaction processing resumes for the unblocked operations.
